Targeted Meets will be attended by Moreton Bay coaching staff. There is also an expectation for Moreton Bay swimmers (who have qualified) to attend.

    7-June
    This meet is designed for younger swimmers aged 13 and under. It offers a fantastic opportunity to gain race experience in a supportive and friendly environment. Participating in this event also gives swimmers the chance to achieve qualifying times for the upcoming Brisbane and State Championships.

    9-14 June
    The Australian Trials are the highest standard of swimming in Australia. Athlete attending will be looking to achieve a place on the Australian Team headed to Singapore for the World Championships.

    Join us for the Moreton Bay Swimming Club’s Parent Information Evening, where we’ll share our vision for the season ahead. This session will cover key updates across training, competition planning, athlete development pathways, and club culture. It’s a valuable opportunity to meet our coaching team, ask questions, and better understand how we can support your child’s swimming journey.

It provides an excellent opportunity for athletes to rehearse their key events in the lead-up to the championship season. Competing at this event also allows swimmers the chance to achieve qualifying times for the upcoming Brisbane and State Championships.

    19-20 July
    This is a Championship Meet, and all MBS swimmers who have achieved a qualifying time are expected to participate. The meet is aimed at swimmers aged 8 to 12 years. Since qualifying times are required to enter, it’s important to take part in earlier events to secure those times. Qualifying standards can be found in the meet information link.
    2025 Brisbane Junior Short Course

    This is a Championship Meet, and all MBS swimmers who have achieved a qualifying time are expected to participate. The meet is aimed at swimmers aged 13 years and older.     2025 Brisbane Senior Short Course

    7-10 August
    This is a Championship Meet, and all MBS swimmers who have achieved a qualifying time are required to participate. Bringing together some of the best talent in the state, this event marks the conclusion of the short course season as we transition back to long course racing in Term 4. The meet is targeted at swimmers aged 11 and over. As qualifying times are necessary for entry, it’s important to compete in earlier meets to secure those times.     2025 QLD Short Course Championships

    6-September
    The MBS team has a tradition of using this event as a key team-building experience. The swimmers travel together by bus, offering them a chance to support and cheer each other on, which fosters a strong sense of camaraderie. As the first major meet in the Long Course Preparation phase, it served as an excellent benchmark for our athletes and tested their resilience in a different environment. This is a Championship Meet, and all MBS swimmers who have achieved a qualifying time are expected to participate.

    This meet is targeted at the swimmers who want more exposure to open water swimming and want to compete again in this event at a QLD level. We encourage distance swimmers and triathletes to participate in this event.

    This event is always a great deal of fun every year with the swimmers in different MBS uniforms. I always enjoy seeing the swimmers come together as a team and proudly represent MBS against the other Brisbane clubs. This is a great way for swimmers to work on their relay skills leading into all the term 1 school swimming events.

Bringing together some of the best talent in the state and International talent, this is one of the most prestigious event of the year. The meet is targeted at swimmers aged 12 and over.
